The First Tee UW Youth Golf Program (Ages 7 - 18)

Location: Jacoby Golf Course, 3501 Willett Drive, 745-3111
The First Tee University of Wyoming will provide all equipment needed if a participant does not have their own set of clubs. The First Tee has established Nine Core Values that represent some of the many positive values connected to the game of golf. The Nine Core Values have been incorporated into the First Tee Experience and offer the participants the opportunity to progress through various levels of the program. The Nine Core Values that are addressed in the program are as follows:
Honesty ~ Integrity ~ Sportsmanship ~ Respect ~ Confidence
Responsibility ~ Perseverance ~ Courtesy ~ Judgment
All of the values are taught and reinforced through various activities using the game of golf. Participants will progress through four levels (PLAYer, Par, Birdie, Eagle). Each level has certain requirements that must be met to progress to the next level.
Fee: $80 (8 classes)
Age: 7-9
Day: Wednesdays Time: 12-1:30pm
Start: June 9 End: August 4 (no class on 7/21)
Age: 10-12
Day: Thursdays Time: 8:30-10:00am
Start: June 10 End: August 5 (no class on 7/22)
Age: 13+
Day: Thursdays Time: 10:30am-12:00pm
Start: June 10 End: August 5 (no class on 7/22)
Registration will be held at the Jacoby Golf Course Clubhouse during the following times:
Wednesday, May 19th 5:00-7:00pm
Wednesday, May 26th 5:00-7:00pm
Saturday, May 29th 9am-12:00noon
